| Bill Bruce Bill Bruce joined SiliconAid Solutions, Inc. as a Chief Scientist in 2003. Bill Bruce recently retired from Motorola as a senior member of the technical staff after completing 26 years. His experience at Motorola included architecting the M6809 interrupt structure and verifying the M6801microcomputer. As DFT manager for 10 years, he pioneered design-for-test technology for the M6800 and M68000 product lines. Bill also served in a formal verification software group for 10 years where he developed verification and test-related CAD tools. He also served as a system architect for embedded DRAM where he was involved in system bus interfaces and test technology that included BIST and BISR DRAM technology. Bill received a Motorola Distinguished Innovator Award in 2001. He served on the Motorola systems/software patent committee for 10 years. He is listed as an inventor on ten U.S. patents with two more pending. He was a member of the IEEE Built-In Self-Test workshop (Kiawah Island) program committee for 10 years. He participated in the development of IEEE Standard 1149.1 (JTAG) as a member of the 1990 and 2001 working groups. He served as program chair of the International Test Conference (ITC) in 1994 and as ITC general chair in 1997. He received a Meritorious Service Award from the IEEE Computer Society in 1998 for his contributions to ITC. Bill retired from the Air Force Reserve as a command pilot with 4,000 hours. He has earned three degrees: B.S.E. (University of Wyoming), M.S.E. (Ohio State University), and an M.B.A. (St. Edwards University). |
